Welcome to my Orajel Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment Review. In this article, I’ll be providing you with my in-depth analysis of the over-the-counter medicine known as Orajel Single Dose.
Back when I used to get cold sores, I tried a lot of topical products.
Orajel Single Dose wasn’t one of them.
I don’t know if it was on the market yet, and if it was, I never saw it. However, I recently learned that many cold sore sufferers have been raving about the benefits of Orajel Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment.
This made me very excited to do research on it. Now, after studying the ingredients and how the product works, I’d like to share with you my findings.
Orajel Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment Review
At first glance, I was interested in the way you use Orajel Single Dose for cold sores. Most topical cold sore gels, creams, and ointments direct you to apply them around three times a day.
This is not the case with Orajel Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment.
You typically only need to use one dose for a cold sore. Furthermore, unlike other cold sore products that require multiple applications, Orajel Single Dose has a Touch-Free Applicator that helps clean the site of the cold sore and the affected area, allowing the formula to treat the cold sore.
Aside from this unique feature, Orajel Single Dose acts in a similar way to many of the other over-the-counter, topical cold sore medicines.
Orajel Single Dose contains the following Active Ingredients:
- Benzalkonium chloride, 0.13% – Topical Antiseptic
- Benzocaine, 5% – Topical Anesthetic
Orajel Single Dose Inactive Ingredients:
- Isopropyl Alcohol (70% v/v)
- Water
Orajel Single Dose has a patented formula, which relieves pain and helps guard against infection. After reviewing the ingredients and mechanisms of action, it’s apparent that Orajel Single Dose can be very effective at treating cold sore symptoms.
However, what I find extremely compelling is what so many people are saying about the product.
Apparently, a statistically significant percentage of people that wrote Orajel Single Dose Reviews have stated that the product totally prevented a cold sore – when used at the first sign of an outbreak (tingle, itch, etc).
Orajel Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment Review – Anecdotal Evidence
In less than five minutes of reading Orajel Single Dose Reviews on Amazon.com, I was simply blown away.
To my surprise and excitement, a lot of people said they were able to prevent a cold sore from ever appearing – from using just one dose of this product.
Unfortunately, not everyone had the same positive testimonials.
Many users of Orajel Single Dose gave the product 1-Star in their review, and said the product didn’t help prevent or heal their cold sores at all. That just shows you the importance of something called “biochemical uniqueness.”
We are all human, yet the same diets and medicines don’t always work the same on everyone. In the case of finding an effective cold sore treatment product, you really just have to try things out and see for yourself how it works on you.
Once you find something that really works, keep taking it.
You might get lucky and find it on your first try, or it could even take you using ten products or more before you find a “keeper.”
Where Can I Buy Orajel Single Dose?
You can get Orajel Single Dose on Amazon.com for around $10. You can also find Orajel Single Dose at many other online stores, as well as in drug, discount, and grocery stores (typically in or near the “Cough & Cold” section).
